What is central idea for you concentration?
For my concentration idea, the central idea is, what lies beneath the surface. I documented my self and anatomy of the human skeleton to capture what is under the skin.
How does the work demonstrate the exploration of your concentration idea?
In the photos of my concentration, I reveal what is under the skin by overlaying images I took, in Photoshop. To create an eerie ghostly feel, I used only one light source, coming from one side. I also changed all the images to black and white. As the photos progress, the skeleton soon takes over my entire body.In photo three, the face starts off, just skin. It soon begins to reveal the frontal bone, maxilla and the mandible. The face ends with clear view of the zygomatic bone. This photo demonstrates that our body are not just made up of skin but delicate bones as well. we must look deeper then the skin and not judge what you see. What really matters remains hidden and you must underneath.
